Ok, so it's good for kids to have a hero spawned by the Overlord of Hell?

Sorry, but I know people with kids 8 years old that they won't even let touch a Spawn comic because of the adult subject matter.

So now let's market it toward little kids?

I can see it now: Torture Soul Babies!

I have no problem at all with this stuff being available for adults and older kids, but I just can't see them being able to water it down enough for little kids.

If you go through the "online comic", it's essentially spawn.....but not.

lest we forget, that it's more important to shield our children from mortality, than to allow them to believe that if they 'don a cape...they might be able to fly from the roof of the garage!
Or maybe.....there's a far away galaxy where.....people make out with their sisters!

Give it a read, it just might suprise you at how "saturday morning" it actually feels.

I read it after I posted, and while it IS dumbed down for the kiddies, it's nothing like Spawn at all, other then the costume.

It sounded more like a Gi-Joe or Max Steel story.
